Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist in Rehabilitation Center

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Physical Therapist to be an integral part of our orthopedic outpatient practice at Care First Motion Physical Therapy Services in Buffalo, New York. In this role, you will partner with patients on their journey to regain motion and enhance functional abilities. Your expertise will directly impact their quality of life as you engage in promotion, prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation efforts.

At Care First Motion Physical Therapy Services, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, personalized care within our state-of-the-art 5,000 square-foot sports medicine facility. We prioritize the needs of our patients, providing a comprehensive rehabilitation approach primarily funded through private medical insurance carriers. Our collaborative environment consists of a passionate team of two physical therapists and one PTA, all committed to transforming patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Work Environment

Located in a modern rehabilitation center in Buffalo, our facility is designed to offer optimal comfort and functionality for both patients and staff. The work setting is completely onsite, providing you with direct access to advanced therapeutic equipment and resources that support high-quality care. Your standard work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient goals and develop customized treatment plans.
• 院/treat2-3 patients each hour, facilitating a speedy recovery process and maximizing rehabilitation effectiveness.
• Implement evidence-based interventions that improve patients' mobility, flexibility, and strength, reducing reliance on medications and avoiding the need for surgical procedures.
• Motivate and empower clients through their treatment journey, encouraging them to achieve their maximum functional potential.
• Design and implement fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs and lifestyle goals.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Monitor and document patients' progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices to promote long-term wellbeing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. You will be instrumental in building meaningful relationships with patients, guiding them through their recovery and empowering them to return to their daily activities with confidence.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Current New York State Physical Therapist License or eligibility for licensure.
• No previous board actions or disciplinary issues associated with your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in therapeutic exercises.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in orthopedic outpatient settings as a Physical Therapist.
• A background in sports medicine or injury prevention is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
