Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients entering our detox program by evaluating personal histories, present concerns, and risk factors.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their unique mental health challenges and recovery goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to promote emotional resilience and recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that inspire personal growth and equip clients with effective coping strategies.
\n
• Work closely with a network of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners—to coordinate comprehensive care and optimize treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and identifying when to refer individuals for higher levels of care.

• Deliver psychoeducational sessions to clients and their families, empowering them with knowledge about mental health conditions and available resources.

• Maintain accurate and current documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case conferences to share insights and improve collaborative care efforts.

• Stay updated on best practices in mental health legislation and ethical guidelines relevant to your practice.

Your primary focus will be on individuals undergoing detoxification, many of whom face co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health or substance use treatment settings.

• A sound understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, and trauma-informed care principles.

• Proven proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
