Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific orthopedic needs.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to restore function, improve mobility, and relieve pain.
• Educate patients and their families on effective exercise regimens, wellness practices, and postoperative recovery strategies, ensuring they understand their role in promoting their own recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and regularly adjust treatment plans based on assessments and outcomes to ensure continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Adhere to all regulatory compliance standards and ethical practices, ensuring that safety and quality are always prioritized in treatment delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily engage with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. This position requires a deep understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation methodologies and the ability to apply evidence-based practices to help patients achieve their functional goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience specializing in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.
• Proficiency in developing individualized rehabilitation plans that address a variety of orthopedic conditions.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for fostering relationships with patients and collaborating effectively with team members.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is three years of experience, we prefer candidates with a strong background in outpatient orthopedic settings. Experience in home care therapy or knowledge of advanced rehabilitation techniques is a plus. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will enhance your documentation efficiency and care continuity.

Compensation and Benefits
