Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite, primarily in clients' homes across Naples, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment focused on preventing disability, alleviating pain, and enhancing muscle function based on individualized care plans developed in collaboration with healthcare providers.
• Oversee and direct the activities of physical therapy assistants, ensuring that prescribed treatments are implemented effectively and adjustments are made as necessary to meet client goals.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of each client's physical capabilities through diagnostic tests, functional ability assessments, and home environment evaluations.
• Deliver physical therapy services in clients' homes as per physician prescriptions, ensuring that care is both safe and effective.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and treatments involving physical agents, motivating clients to engage actively in their rehabilitation.
• Evaluate, fit, and make recommendations regarding the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with physicians on any necessary modifications.
• Participate in the interdisciplinary team approach by engaging in case conferences, treatment planning, and evaluations, bringing in insights from your assessments and experiences.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding therapy programs and self-care instructions, ensuring engagement and understanding.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants according to state laws, providing guidance and instruction as needed during treatment sessions.
• Perform on-site assessments of client conditions to ensure care plans are effective and adapted as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with clients who have undergone orthopedic surgeries, experience chronic pain conditions, or require rehabilitative care following injuries. This population values personalized care and therapy solutions tailored to their unique lifestyles and rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
