Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments for new clients to determine mental health status and identify specific treatment needs.

• Develop individualized therapy plans that may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness strategies, and other evidence-based practices tailored to each client's unique challenges.

• Hold regular therapy sessions with clients, providing them with actionable skills to manage symptoms and improve their mental health.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, referring clients to psychiatrists or specialists as necessary to ensure comprehensive care.

• Maintain detailed and accurate notes in our electronic health record system to monitor client progress and treatment outcomes.

• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, utilizing strong de-escalation skills to stabilize clients experiencing acute distress.

The clients you will serve encompass a diverse range of backgrounds and mental health conditions, including but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. Your ability to connect with individuals from various cultural contexts is vital, as our commitment to cultural competence plays a key role in fostering trust and collaboration with clients.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Tennessee.

• A bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required; a master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• A minimum of four years of proven experience in the field of mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
