Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses to determine their current physical capabilities.
• Design, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans that utilize diverse therapeutic methods, including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities tailored to invigorate mobility and lessen pain.
• Document treatment progress meticulously, ensuring all patient records reflect their responses and improvements over time.
• Modify treatment strategies as necessary, based on continuous assessment and reevaluation of patient progress towards their therapeutic goals.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families on effective physical therapy techniques and safe use of assistive devices, promoting self-care and independence.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry practices and guidelines through ongoing education, workshops, and participation in professional networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is essential; a Doctorate degree (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is required.

Preferred Experience
