Step into a meaningful contract role in the Wilmington, DE area, supporting student growth and success as an onsite Occupational Therapist. This role offers the opportunity to work both within a school building and with students who require homebound services, providing a diverse and rewarding professional experience.

In this position, you’ll deliver high-quality occupational therapy services for students with varying needs. Your work will help students develop essential skills for independence and learning. The caseload will fluctuate throughout the year, offering a dynamic environment and opportunities to positively impact a variety of students.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience or interest in working within school settings as well as providing services in homebound environments
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
  • Flexibility to travel between school sites and students’ homes as needed
  • Ability to document services and progress clearly and accurately

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and provide direct OT services to students in accordance with IEPs and 504 plans
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and interventions
  • Collaborate with educational teams to support student achievement and accessibility
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation
  • Flexibly manage a fluctuating caseload, responding to varying student needs throughout the school year
  • Serve both onsite at the school and with a small number of homebound students

Enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time hours. The school assignment site will be determined, with homebound services required as needed.
