Step into an impactful school-based role supporting students as an onsite Physical Therapist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity allows you to deliver meaningful care at school sites as well as assist a select group of medically homebound students, fostering progress across a dynamic caseload.

This position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time scheduling options at 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Your assignments will include working directly in school buildings and traveling to homes as needed to support students who are unable to attend onsite due to medical needs. The specific school site assignment for non-homebound students will be determined prior to your start.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware Physical Therapist license (candidates must present valid license and resume to be considered)
  • Experience working in pediatric or school settings preferred
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and eager to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable with fluctuating caseloads and supporting students across a range of conditions and environments
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services to students within designated school sites and to those who are homebound by medical necessity
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized physical therapy plans
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other related service providers to promote student independence and participation
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation following district procedures
  • Adjust services and schedules based on caseload needs throughout the academic year
