Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients’ mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based assessment techniques.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, taking into account client objectives and expectations.

• Provide tailored individual therapy sessions to clients across the lifespan, addressing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions focused on enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and strengthening relationships.
\n
• Continually review and adjust treatment plans to reflect client progress and changing needs, ensuring effective therapeutic interventions.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and case histories to comply with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, as needed, to ensure that clients receive holistic care tailored to their unique circumstances.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Citizens Memorial Mental Health Center, you will work with a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our clients come from various backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and experiences that require a personalized approach to therapy. You will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their emotional and relational issues, contributing to improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.

• Possession of an active Marriage and Family Therapist licensure from the State Board is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and/or couples therapy.

• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities that support clients in dealing with both emotional and relational challenges.

• Excellent skills in timely completion of assessments, progress notes, and treatment planning.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a willingness to learn and adapt to electronic health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits\n
