Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document detailed assessments from initial consultation to discharge.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop customized treatment and recovery plans for individuals, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging and effective individual and group therapy sessions aimed at promoting mental wellness.

• Monitor client progress continuously throughout the treatment journey, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure effective outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with a diverse team of mental health specialists, physicians, and social workers to develop integrated intervention plans.

• Coordinate with psychiatrists and primary care providers for clients with complex health needs, ensuring comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice caters to a diverse client base, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for building rapport with clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, enhancing the efficiency of client documentation and care management.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, particularly in a telehealth or remote setting.

• Experience working with individuals with co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with AMHCA best practices and the knowledge of medications prescribed by medical professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
