Overview Registered Nurse - Med Surg, travel assignment in Marysville, California. Start date: August 10, 2026. Eight-week engagement with a weekly pay range of $1,837 to $1,935 per week and 36 guaranteed hours per week. Shift: three 12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This position supports a medical-surgical unit requiring skilled, bedside care across a broad adult patient population. Key Highlights

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, professional nursing care for assigned Med Surg patients across a wide age range as defined by unit assignment.
• Deliver care using the nursing process, coordinating with physicians and the health care team to implement the medical plan of care.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments per orders, assess for changes in condition, and escalate as needed.
• Incorporate patient and family education, discharge planning, and collaboration with the care team to ensure safe transitions of care.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, adhere to infection prevention and safety protocols, and delegate aspects of care within the scope of practice.
• Document care in the electronic health record (EPIC) and support data accuracy and continuity of care.

Requirements

• Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California).
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required at time of hire.
• Experience: At least two years of recent RN bedside experience in the field.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Additional qualifications: Demonstrated competency in dysrhythmia during Orientation for all departments except Obstetrics and NICU; EPIC electronic medical record experience required.
• Ability to work the listed shift and provide care in a Med Surg setting with appropriate supervision and support.
