Work Environment The role is based in Rockford, Illinois, operating entirely remotely. Our virtual platform allows mental health professionals to connect with clients in a safe and supportive environment. You will engage in video therapy sessions using secure, HIPAA-compliant technology that facilitates effective communication and maintains confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual's goals. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), delivering services in a virtual format to ensure access and comfort for clients. Foster strong therapeutic alliances by establishing trust and rapport with clients, aiding them in setting and achieving their therapeutic objectives throughout the recovery process. Continuously monitor, document, and analyze client progress, keeping accurate records of therapy sessions and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including team meetings and case consultations to enhance your clinical skills through peer feedback and collaborative practices. Patient Population / Client Focus As a therapist within our network, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Our patient-centered approach places the emphasis on understanding each client's unique experiences and adapting treatment to best fit their cultural, social, and emotional backgrounds. This role not only allows you to provide crucial support to clients in need but also contributes to reducing the stigma around seeking mental health care. Qualifications A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). A minimum of a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required. Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrated through the ability to build rapport and establish an effective therapeutic relationship remotely. An empathetic and compassionate approach towards clients' challenges, along with strong organizational skills to manage time and documentation in a virtual setting. Preferred Experience Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and techniques suited for empirical practice. A background in trauma-informed care is an asset. Experience working with diverse populations and the ability to incorporate cultural competency into therapeutic practice. A proven ability to adapt methodologies based on client feedback and evolving needs is highly valued. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
