Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms associated with mood disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, goals, and preferences using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, helping them understand mood disorders and available treatment options while promoting effective self-care practices.

• Monitor client progress methodically and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with clients to ensure optimum therapeutic effectiveness.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to facilitate integrated care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay abreast of the latest research in mental health to inform your practice.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, including addressing issues of stigma and access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults experiencing mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Many of our clients may also face compounding challenges, such as those experiencing homelessness, refugees, or survivors of domestic abuse. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing compassionate care and possess an understanding of the unique barriers these populations face in accessing mental health services.
