Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand individual histories and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), in both individual and group therapy sessions.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide integrated care for clients, ensuring all aspects of their mental well-being are addressed.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, responding swiftly to our clients’ urgent needs.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping techniques, and available resources.

• Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines by maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and trauma-informed care professional development sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will predominantly focus on clients who have experienced trauma, including veterans, survivors of abuse, and individuals facing life-altering events. You will aim to provide a safe space where clients can process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and foster a sense of empowerment and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctorate degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current and valid state license as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD is required.

• A minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, particularly focused on trauma.
\n
• Deep knowledge of trauma-related illnesses and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.

• The ability to maintain composure under pressure and in crisis situations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• A strong ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
