This remote position focuses on providing high-quality telehealth services to individuals who have been affected by trauma. Key Responsibilities\n

The therapist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients’ trauma histories and identifying appropriate, individualized treatment approaches.

• Developing tailored treatment plans with a focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing trauma, developing coping mechanisms, and enhancing their healing journeys.

• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment plan and integrated care approach.

• Providing crisis intervention and necessary support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, as well as identifying available resources to aid their recovery.

• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engaging in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on enhancing trauma-informed care delivery.

• Staying informed on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually improve therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary client population includes individuals coping with various trauma-related challenges, including those suffering from PTSD and complex trauma. Therapists will work with a diverse range of patients, encompassing different age groups and backgrounds, allowing for a rich and rewarding experience in providing mental health support. This role is central to helping these individuals navigate their paths toward healing and recovery.

Qualifications\n

The following qualifications are required to effectively fulfil this role:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred.
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a non-judgmental approach to therapy.
\n
• The ability to remain composed and effective in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications.

• A strong collaborative spirit to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have direct experience in delivering trauma-focused therapy modalities, within diverse demographic settings. Demonstrated expertise in conducting assessments and creating individualized treatment plans, especially involving evidence-based practices, will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n
