Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to engage with clients while maintaining a work-life balance. Our work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to identify clients' trauma histories and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Design and implement specific trauma recovery strategies aimed at building resilience and promoting emotional wellbeing.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to provide effective treatment.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process their trauma experiences and develop healthy coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, integrative care for clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services for trauma-related emergencies, ensuring client safety and stabilization.
\n
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to discuss client progress and treatment approaches.

• Stay informed about the latest research and innovations in trauma therapy to continually enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client population will consist of individuals struggling with trauma-related issues, including veterans, survivors of abuse, and those coping with significant life changes. As a therapist, you will be instrumental in fostering a supportive relationship that empowers clients to navigate their healing processes and improve their mental health and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctorate degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in mental health therapy.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care principles.

• Ability to manage high-pressure situations with a calm and collected approach.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
