Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate the unique histories and needs of patients seeking support.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each individual, focusing on promoting trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions employing trauma-focused therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Offer crisis intervention and support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, helping them navigate immediate challenges.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with knowledge of available resources for support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to all legal and ethical standards, ensuring an accurate record of patient interactions and treatment progress.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to collaborative treatment efforts and sharing insights from your work.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, staying current on best practices and emerging research in trauma therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders. You will be instrumental in guiding them through their healing journey, offering both therapeutic techniques and emotional support. By establishing trust and rapport, you will help patients develop essential coping strategies and navigate the challenges that trauma presents.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
\n
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach toward patients.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications, ensuring smooth documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, ideally working with trauma survivors.

• Experience with trauma-focused therapies and a strong background in resilience-building approaches.

• Adept at remaining composed in high-stress situations while delivering empathetic care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
