METGreen Solutions is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead the next stage of growth for our federal IT business. This executive will set sales strategy, develop our leaders, strengthen customer and partner relationships, and build the processes needed to grow profitably.

Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Sales leads our Directors of Sales for civilian and defense markets, our account management leader, and our Federal Solutions Executives. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands how federal agencies buy technology and knows how to build and lead successful sales teams.

What you’ll do

\n
• Set and execute sales strategy across federal markets, with clear goals for growth, profitability, and customer development.
\n
• Coach sales leaders, develop their teams, and establish a culture of accountability and collaboration.
\n
• Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, Salesforce practices, and sales performance reporting.
\n
• Support complex opportunities and build relationships with federal customers, OEMs, distributors, and partners.
\n
• Work with the CEO and executive team on market expansion, staffing, sales investments, and long-term plans.
\n
• Improve quoting, pricing, and sales processes while protecting profitability.
\n
• Meet with customers and partners and attend industry events as business needs require.
\n

What we’re looking for

\n
• At least 10 years of progressive federal government sales experience, including at least five years leading sales teams.
\n
• Strong knowledge of federal procurement, contract vehicles, and the acquisition process.
\n
• A record of growing revenue, developing sales leaders, and building effective sales organizations.
\n
• Experience selling enterprise IT solutions to federal customers. Leadership experience with a federal IT reseller or value-added reseller is strongly preferred; relevant OEM experience will also be considered.

• Sound financial judgment, strong forecasting discipline, and the ability to balance growth with profitability.
\n
• Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
\n

• Base salary of $175,000–$225,000, plus performance-based incentive compensation
