PRIMARY PURPOSE: Facilitate the efficient operation of the school administrative office and provide clerical services for the school's administrative staff. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or GED Special Knowledge/Skills:
Three (3) years clerical/secretarial experience or other equivalent experience or background. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

High School Diploma or GED Special Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of general office equipment
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proficient skills in typing, word processing, and file maintenance
- Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate computer/peripherals using a variety of basic applications
- Ability to effectively use district programs with reasonable assistance
Three (3) years clerical/secretarial experience or other equivalent experience or background. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist students, teachers, and parents as needed.
- Receive incoming calls, take reliable messages, and schedule appointments.
- Perform accounting tasks following established district guidelines including, but not limited to, those related to budget, textbooks, fixed assets, requisitions, purchase orders
- Manage student and campus activity accounts as required
- Keep accurate records of staff absences and substitutes used
- Monitor, process and submit personnel payroll reports to central office as required
- Manage office personnel in daily activities as needed or directed
- Assist in compiling information to be used in various administrative reports
- Maintain the scheduled use of building and make requests for appropriate heating/cooling
- Maintain confidentiality
- Remain informed of and comply with state, district, and school policies or regulations concerning primary job functions
