Work Environment\n

This position is designed for professionals who thrive in a collaborative and supportive remote work setting while also engaging with clients in-person when necessary. Our Irvine outpatient office features a modern design that facilitates a comforting atmosphere for both clients and staff. Our team works approximately 40 hours per week, granting an ideal work/life balance, free from night shifts, hospital calls, and weekend duties. You will have the flexibility to choose between telemedicine and face-to-face consultations, catering to the needs of your patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct thorough assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing monitoring of patients' mental health status, utilizing the DSM-5 and other diagnostic tools tailored to individual needs.

  Collaborate with patients and families to develop personalized treatment plans which align with the cultural and social context of our diverse clientele.

  Employ evidence-based interventions and therapeutic strategies to assist patients in achieving their mental health goals, adjusting plans as required based on progress assessments.

  Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, treatment records, and reports in line with regulatory compliance and privacy standards.

  Facilitate patient referrals to appropriate resources, building effective relationships with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care pathways.

  Engage in clinical supervision, peer review, and mentoring roles to support the professional development of interns, students, and team colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work primarily with adult and adolescent populations facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
