The role of Licensed Mental Health Counselor operates entirely in a remote telehealth setting, allowing for flexibility and a balanced work-life experience. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments during initial consultations to evaluate the mental health status of clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans designed to address each client's unique needs and mental health goals.

• Deliver weekly therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings, while utilizing a variety of therapy modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

• Monitor clients' progress and adapt treatment strategies as necessary, providing essential tools to empower clients in their healing journey.

• Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans in our electronic health record system.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and primary care providers, to provide comprehensive care and to refer patients as needed.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to share insights and strategies that enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our Counseling team serves a diverse patient base encompassing adults facing various mental health challenges, including substance use disorders, mood disorders, and stress-related conditions. Our aim is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients feel at ease to express themselves and actively engage in their therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Colorado.

• A minimum of 4 years of direct counseling experience required, preferably in a clinical environment.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver culturally responsive therapy and to engage with individuals from varied backgrounds.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the capability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients.

• Proficiency in navigating EHR systems and various telecommunication platforms.

• A commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and respecting professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n
