Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess clients' psychological, emotional, and behavioral issues.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that consider each client's unique needs and goals.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to client requirements.

• Document progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records of client interactions from the initial consultation through the completion of their treatment.

• Monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Follow up with clients post-treatment and manage referrals to additional resources as needed.
\n
• Provide support and guidance to family members and primary caregivers, helping them understand and manage clients' behavioral challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center serves a diverse client population with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship issues. You will work with individuals across various age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, helping them to cultivate healthy coping mechanisms and improve their overall mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure in the state of California as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.

• Successful completion of relevant examinations, including the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE).

• Sound understanding of best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in a clinical mental health counseling setting.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to manage client documentation and scheduling.

• Experience in treating clients with co-occurring disorders and complex emotional health issues.

• Robust clinical insight and familiarity with psychotropic medications and their effects.

• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on empathetic interaction and client rapport.

Compensation and Benefits\n
