Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health by gathering pertinent information through interviews and standardized tools.

• Design individualized treatment plans based on client assessments, tailoring approaches to meet unique needs and preferences.

• Facilitate regular one-on-one counseling sessions, applying a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to help clients navigate challenges.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients about their mental health conditions, offering strategies and tools that promote better coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive patient care and referrals when necessary.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of patient progress in compliance with ethical standards and organizational protocols, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in regular supervision and team meetings, contributing to ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. You will be expected to employ culturally competent practices to ensure all patients feel understood and valued within the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders, therapeutic interventions, and the importance of cultural competence in client interactions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
