Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their mental health status and needs through virtual consultations.

• Design individualized treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals and methods tailored to each client’s unique situations.

• Provide ongoing therapy sessions, employing various evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused strategies.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring a responsive and adaptive approach that caters to changing needs.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, addressing common challenges faced by clients and fostering community support.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to coordinate client care effectively.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions in compliance with professional standards and legal requirements.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your client caseload will primarily consist of individuals dealing with anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders, among other mental health challenges. You will work with a diverse clientele, enabling you to apply culturally competent practices that honor each client's unique background and experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid professional license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
