Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while rooted in a community health clinic framework. Your typical work week will be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the potential for some scheduling adjustments to accommodate patient needs. You will engage with clients through various methods including video conferencing and teletherapy platforms, ensuring that you maintain a personal and impactful connection during each session.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough cultural assessments and mental health evaluations to gain insight into each patient's unique background and experiences.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, tailored to the specific cultural contexts of your clients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address a broad spectrum of mental health challenges, fostering resilience and personal growth.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, offering essential support during mental health emergencies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team discussions, and ongoing cultural competency training to continually improve your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling, particularly with diverse populations.
