Work Environment\n

As a remote Telehealth facility, Mind Pro Counseling Center offers flexible work arrangements, allowing counselors to connect with clients from the comfort of their home or any location equipped with a reliable internet connection. The standard schedule for this role spans Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, though occasional evenings or weekends may be necessary to accommodate client schedules and expand our outreach.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and establish baseline data for tailored interventions.

• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that align with each client's goals, adapting strategies as necessary based on client progress and feedback.

• Facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic interventions that promote clients’ emotional and psychological resilience.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team, ensuring a holistic approach to client care that includes sharing insights and developing shared action plans.

• Maintain meticulously confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical practice standards, ensuring the highest level of client protection.

• Engage in regular clinical supervision and participate in case conferences, continuous education, and professional development activities to uphold clinical expertise.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• A Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Thorough understanding and proficiency in employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques that are applicable to mental health treatments.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of three years of direct counseling experience, chiefly in clinical mental health settings.

• Experience with virtual therapy platforms and familiarity with technological tools to enhance Telehealth services.

• Expertise in specific therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
