Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week. Rotating schedule every 4 weeks (straight shifts for 4 weeks, then rotate to opposite shift). Includes weekdays and some weekends (3-4 weekend days per month). Floating to other units required.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with mixed acuity; PCU experience not required
• Patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts
• 27-bed unit with daily census of approximately 23 patients; adult and geriatric populations
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including PT, RT, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• 36 hours of orientation provided
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of experience

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Skills required: IV starts and maintenance, peripheral line care, PICC line management, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, chest tube management, oxygen administration, isolation precautions/PPE, substance withdrawal care, and use of rapid response/code teams
• 2 professional references required (at least one from manager/director or formal leadership)
• Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
