Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, which include psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments tailored to each client.

• Collaborate with patients to create individualized treatment plans that focus on their specific needs, goals, and cultural considerations, ensuring a holistic approach to care.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, offering support through individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions using approaches like CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

• Deliver crisis intervention services and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients experiencing acute distress.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to clinic policies and relevant regulatory guidelines.

• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families, equipping them with tools and knowledge to manage their mental health effectively.

• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

• Regularly assess treatment outcomes, adjusting plans as necessary based on the effectiveness of interventions.

• Stay current on mental health research, best practices, and emerging treatment methodologies, incorporating this understanding into clinical practice.

Qualifications\n

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mental health counseling are highly desired. Experience in trauma-informed care, as well as familiarity with electronic health record systems, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
