Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, accurately identifying the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider each patient's developmental stage and family dynamics, and that align with best practices in pediatric mental health.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and family-oriented approaches, to support young clients struggling with issues like anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with strategies to foster a nurturing and supportive home environment.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and allied health professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring that each child receives comprehensive support.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for children and adolescents facing mental health emergencies, guiding families through urgent situations.

• Educate patients and their families on various mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their care.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to support continuity of care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying current with the latest research and advancements in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with children and adolescents who are dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and behavioral issues. You will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes by providing tailored therapeutic interventions that address the unique needs of this age group, fostering resilience, and promoting overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A strong foundation in child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting focused on children and adolescents is preferred.

• Experience in providing family therapy and engaging in multidisciplinary team collaboration.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and a comfort level in utilizing technology for remote therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The role offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, along with a generous sign-on bonus.
