Work Environment\n

This role will primarily be conducted in a remote setting, with a focus on collaboration with school personnel, families, and community organizations. Working remotely allows for flexibility in your approach while maintaining a strong emphasis on team collaboration and communication.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide clinical interventions to children and adolescents exhibiting symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders, conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.

• Engage actively in team meetings, working closely with educational staff, parents, and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to conduct screenings and assessments, addressing developmental and behavioral concerns effectively.
\n
• Implement integrated care plans incorporating a multidisciplinary team approach, ensuring clients and their families have access to necessary resources.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, utilizing de-escalation techniques to assist students in distress.
\n
• Maintain a manageable caseload, conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to client needs.
\n
• Ensure compliance with organizational and professional ethical standards and guidelines when interacting with clients and families.
\n
• Monitor progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans collaboratively with clients.
\n
• Participate in community outreach activities to promote mental health awareness and the services offered by the clinic.

• Complete necessary documentation in a timely manner, ensuring all reports, data submissions, and treatment plans meet regulatory standards.

This position primarily serves children and adolescents within school settings who are experiencing mental health challenges. By offering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, the LCSW plays a critical role in supporting students’ emotional and psychological well-being, aiming to foster resilience and coping skills that contribute to their academic success and overall development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

• Current Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

• Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse populations.
