Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough assessments of clients through a range of psychological evaluations and interviews to identify mental health needs.

• Conduct individualized psychotherapy sessions for students, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and crisis situations.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that are tailored specifically to the unique needs of each student and their families.

• Provide crisis intervention services, including risk assessments, and create safety plans when necessary to ensure student safety during high-stress situations.

• Collaborate extensively with school staff, parents, and external mental health professionals to create a supportive network and comprehensive care approach for students.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.

• Engage in continual professional development through staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance your skills and keep informed about current trends in mental health care.

• Assist in refining and implementing clinical policies and procedures that enhance service delivery and improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with children and adolescents within a school setting. Understanding the unique challenges faced by this demographic—from social pressures to academic demands—is crucial in creating effective therapeutic strategies. You will also engage with parents and educators, helping to bridge the gap between home and school environments for holistic care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program and possession of a valid LCSW license.

• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience delivering mental health services to a range of client demographics, particularly children and families.

• In-depth knowledge of various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family systems approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Gather and Grow Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
