Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery RN Nights located at the North Austin Medical Center. This position involves providing comprehensive maternity care in a high-volume, Level IV unit with a focus on fetal monitoring, C-Sections, and obstetric procedures. The role includes rotating weekend shifts and emphasizes teamwork and patient safety. Job Details Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, intermediate fetal monitoring, no-call requirements. Education Requirements: Valid RN license. Years of Experience: 2 years in Labor and Delivery. Location Requirements: Must hold appropriate state licensure or certification to work in the specified location. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, intermediate fetal monitoring experience, minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience. Additional Information: The role involves managing patient ratios of 1:2, utilizing equipment such as Novii, JADA, fetal pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, US EMR Meditech, and adhering to unit policies including attendance and dress code (solid blue/black or grey sweatshirts, navy blue scrubs). Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation. Experience in high-volume, Level IV units is preferred.
