Atrium Health and Wellness Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. As a core member of our outpatient psychiatric practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mental health services to a diverse patient population, helping individuals navigate and overcome their mental health challenges.

Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, providing flexibility for our therapists while maintaining the support and connectivity of a collaborative team environment. Our outpatient office operates primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adaptability necessary based on patient scheduling needs. You will work in close conjunction with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring a holistic approach to each individual's care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and assessments to identify the needs of patients, and develop personalized treatment plans that align with best practices.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused interventions, to provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups tailored to address prevalent mental health issues, thus fostering a supportive community for patients.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support for patients experiencing acute mental health crises.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their health.

• Maintain precise and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Actively participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives.

• Stay informed about the latest research, trends, and advancements in mental health therapy to continually enhance treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a varied patient demographic, including children, adolescents, and adults, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health issues. Your contributions will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, improving their quality of life, and fostering resilience through personalized therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Demonstrated expertise in assessing mental health disorders and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Experience providing therapeutic services to a diverse client base, utilizing various modalities appropriate to individual needs.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

• Strong ethical framework and professional boundaries, ensuring patient confidentiality and trust.

• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a mental health counseling role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, based on experience and qualifications.
