Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health by utilizing diagnostic tools and methods, taking into account their personal history, lifestyle, and presenting issues.

• Design individualized therapy plans that address specific challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, or eating disorders, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's circumstances.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, providing ongoing support, motivation, and resources to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients, offering referrals when necessary.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with organizational standards and ethical guidelines using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Centered Living Counseling Services, you will work with a broad spectrum of clients facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance abuse, and trauma-related issues. Your role is pivotal in delivering individualized care that respects and responds to each client’s cultural background and unique life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or equivalent in the state of California.
\n
• At least four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating proficiency with diverse client populations and a range of mental health diagnoses.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic methodologies, and cultural competence in providing therapy.

• Exceptional skills in crisis intervention and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to develop rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
