Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: State license required, pending licenses accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred but not required Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: This position is for a clinical review with an auto offer. You will care for patients on a 27-bed General Medicine Unit. The unit manages a variety of disease processes impacting various systems including respiratory, endocrine, cardiac, immune/infectious diseases, and renal. The schedule includes 36 or 48 hours per week for 13 weeks with every other weekend required. Block scheduling cannot be accommodated. Time off requests can be approved for a maximum of 40 hours. Time off around holidays may be limited. You must adhere to the float policy. Candidates can submit with a pending state license, but it must be in hand by the specified date before the start date. BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred but not required. Experience with Epic is mandatory. It is essential to have skills related to various nursing procedures such as chest tube management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and insulin protocols. You will work with diverse patient demographics including adults and geriatrics, with a daily census around 25. The facility provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, and more. The expected patient ratio is 5:1 during day shifts and 5:1 on weekends. Floating may be required within your scope of practice as needed. Candidates must be prepared to work alongside a variety of specialists and in a supportive team environment. A BSN is preferred for this role.
