Key Responsibilities\n

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to meet individual client needs focused on reducing stress and enhancing emotional well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' unique stressors and goals, allowing you to customize therapeutic practices and interventions.

• Facilitate individual and group mindfulness sessions, guiding clients through meditation, breathing techniques, and mindfulness exercises that promote emotional balance and introspection.

• Lead engaging workshops to educate clients about mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and resilience-building techniques.
\n
• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and the effectiveness of mindfulness interventions to track progress and inform ongoing care.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and health professionals to integrate mindfulness practices into broader treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.

• Participate in your personal mindfulness practice for self-reflection and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with at Zen Zone range from adolescents to adults, often dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. By leveraging mindfulness techniques, you will assist them in cultivating coping strategies that empower them to lead healthier, more balanced lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.
\n
• A strong foundation in therapeutic practices with a demonstrated ability to implement mindfulness-based techniques.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build therapeutic relationships and create a supportive environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience or training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) methodologies is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000, reflective of your experience and qualifications.
