Work Environment

The successful Physical Therapist will work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Egg Harbor City, NJ. Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge therapeutic equipment and technology that facilitates effective patient treatment. Our standard operational hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and establish appropriate treatment goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that may include exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to aid recovery.
• Maintain a manageable caseload, serving one patient per hour to ensure personalized, focused care.
• Monitor patient progress carefully and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient evaluations, treatment progress, and billing information accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, home exercises, and strategies for enhancing self-management post-rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapists primarily focus on outpatient orthopedic cases, treating a diverse clientele ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to individuals seeking rehabilitation after surgery. We are committed to providing care that benefits the whole patient, integrating physical therapy with educational resources to empower our clients in their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey is required.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic environment.
• Proven track record of maintaining a clean record with no board actions or disciplinary measures against the license.
• Expertise in manual therapy and various therapeutic modalities is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years in an outpatient setting, candidates with extensive experience in diverse treatment methodologies and specialty areas will be considered favorably. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing practices will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
