Key Responsibilities

• Conduct independent evaluations of patients to assess their functional capabilities and identify needs specific to orthopedic conditions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans focused on maximizing mobility and minimizing pain through various therapeutic modalities.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility training to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients about their conditions and involve them in their treatment plans to ensure greater adherence and motivation throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Measure and document progress through regular assessments, adjusting treatment strategies based on patient response and recovery goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create multidisciplinary care plans tailored to the individual needs of patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Encourage a proactive patient approach to wellness and independence through the design of fitness and preventative health programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Kessler Rehabilitation Center, you will primarily focus on treating individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will aid patients of all ages who require rehabilitation to regain strength, improve mobility, and enhance their functional abilities. Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current and valid New Jersey Physical Therapy license.

Preferred Experience
