Work Environment

Our Egg Harbor City outpatient office features a warm and welcoming space designed for optimal patient engagement and treatment delivery. Working onsite, our Physical Therapists have direct access to modern therapy equipment and resources tailored to various rehabilitation protocols. We operate from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, fostering a balanced work-life scenario while investing in comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all patient care duties while adhering to the company's values and professional standards.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, assessing their physical condition to establish tailored treatment goals and plans.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to maximize patient outcomes and enhance their overall quality of life.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and ancillary healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Regularly update patient progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring documentation is accurate and in compliance with the New Jersey State Practice Act and APTA's Code of Ethics.
• Mentor patient support staff and assist in the training of new therapists, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient demographic, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors who require personalized rehabilitation programs for orthopedic conditions. Understanding the unique challenges each age group faces allows you to develop specialized treatment methodologies that address specific needs and improve their rehabilitation experience.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate clinical experience in providing physical therapy services, particularly in an orthopedic setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with assessment tools and treatment methodologies relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience working in an outpatient environment, particularly with a focus on patient-centered care and evidence-based practices.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
