Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify needs, set goals, and design individualized care plans that utilize a variety of treatment methodologies.
• Implement effective treatment strategies centered on orthopedic rehabilitation, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training.
• Monitor and document each patient's progress, success metrics, and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage patients through motivational support and education to promote adherence to treatment programs while enhancing their understanding of recovery processes.
• Foster a positive therapeutic relationship with patients, ensuring they feel empowered and supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborative care strategies with other healthcare providers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients experiencing musculoskeletal injuries, postoperative recovery, athletic performance concerns, and chronic pain syndromes. Your specialized skills will help various demographics, including young athletes, active adults, and the elderly, achieve mobility goals and improve their functional capacity.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active state license in New Jersey as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, demonstrating a strong foundation in assessing and treating musculoskeletal conditions.
• Proven ability to create and modify treatment plans based on individual patient assessments.
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with a diverse patient demographic as well as with multidisciplinary teams.
• Capacity to manage varying patient personalities, demonstrating patience and empathy in all interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in utilizing modern therapeutic modalities and technologies relevant to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Ability to construct and implement wellness-oriented fitness programs tailored specifically to individual needs.
• Background in collaborating with healthcare providers and engaging in interdisciplinary care planning.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for the Orthopedic Physical Therapist position ranges from USD 110,000 to 130,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
