Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, establishing personalized treatment plans based on physician orders and clinical standards.
• Implement therapeutic interventions designed to restore movement function and alleviate pain, continually assessing patient progress toward their recovery goals.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and discharge summaries to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and reimbursement protocols.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and support staff, providing guidance on therapeutic techniques and patient care strategies.
• Engage collaboratively with a cross-functional team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to develop and modify treatment plans based on patient responses.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery, educating both patients and caregivers on therapy practices, and promoting preventative health measures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse patient demographic, including children, adults, and seniors facing a variety of challenges due to injuries, surgeries, neurological disorders, or chronic pain. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university.
• Active physical therapy license issued by the State of New Jersey.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in healthcare documentation and word processing software to ensure accurate record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with a diverse patient population and various therapeutic modalities.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
