Specialty Representative - Georgetown University - United States Field Worker

Specialty Representative position at Amgen in the Washington D.C. area focused on promoting pharmaceutical products to healthcare providers. The role involves executing marketing strategies, managing customer relationships, and driving sales targets across assigned territories in oncology, inflammation, and rare disease therapeutics.
Responsibilities
- Execute marketing strategies and deliver branded sales messages to healthcare providers
- Achieve or exceed territory sales targets through planned programs and medical education
- Manage customer accounts including product access and reimbursement issue resolution
- Develop territory plans with District Manager and provide feedback on marketing effectiveness
- Maintain product contracts and service healthcare provider accounts
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree plus 4 years sales/clinical healthcare experience
- High school diploma/GED plus 6 years sales/clinical healthcare experience
- Strong sales planning and organizational skills
- Clinical knowledge of pharmaceutical products and ability to communicate benefits
- Territory sales achievement and account management capabilities
- Ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Compensation: $89,880–$121,602 annual base salary
