Premire Counseling & Wellness Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will provide therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families, empowering them to navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, culturally sensitive therapy through both in-person and telehealth sessions, ensuring all clients receive the compassionate care they deserve.

Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Premire Counseling & Wellness Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and creating individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Facilitating therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families, both remotely and in-office, utilizing evidence-based methods tailored to client preferences.
\n
• Developing and implementing effective interventions to address a variety of concerns, including trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions.
\n
• Providing bilingual therapy services in both English and Spanish to ensure a broader reach within the community.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely client records within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and adhering to HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
\n
• Collaborating with other professionals and referring clients to external resources as necessary to enhance their overall treatment experience.
\n
• Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices within the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on Latino families and individuals, as well as clients from various cultural backgrounds. Our practice is committed to understanding and respecting the nuances of each client’s unique cultural and individual circumstances. By tailoring therapy approaches to meet these distinct needs, your contributions will directly impact clients’ ability to heal and thrive.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in Texas.
\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide bilingual therapy (Spanish and English).
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health setting, working with children, adults, and families.
\n
• A high degree of cultural competence and sensitivity toward the individual needs and customs of diverse family systems.
\n
• Proficiency in using EHR software and Microsoft Office applications.
\n
• Ability to provide telehealth services in a HIPAA-compliant environment successfully.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will set candidates apart:

• Training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• A developed area of specialization, such as trauma recovery, LGBTQ+ support, grief and loss counseling, or perinatal mental health.
\n
• Experience working within an insurance network as an in-network provider.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
