Work Environment

This full-time position requires an onsite presence at our rehabilitation facility, where the workspace is designed to facilitate therapeutic activities and interventions. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in an engaging atmosphere where teamwork and communication are encouraged. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess and identify the specific goals and needs of each patient.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention and tailored treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to deliver cost-effective therapies that improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Implement diverse treatment techniques, continually adjusting care plans based on patient progress.
• Minimize reliance on medications by exploring non-invasive alternatives and methods.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs to support rehabilitation and promote overall health.
• Motivate patients through their recovery journey to achieve meaningful outcomes and regain their independence.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Document all interventions and outcomes clearly and accurately to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient base consists of individuals with private medical insurance, often recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
• No board actions or disciplinary action is on record regarding your licensure.
• Proficient manual therapy skills tailored toward orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong capability in developing individualized exercise programs based on patient assessments.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT and ability to utilize it for documentation and tracking purposes.

Preferred Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy. Experience in working within a fast-paced, high-demand environment is highly desirable, as the successful applicant will be expected to manage a robust caseload while delivering high-quality care.

Compensation and Benefits
