Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate effectively with the Department of Correction to facilitate smooth access to patients, ensure proper housing arrangements, and coordinate appropriate treatment dispositions.

• Develop, implement, and lead group treatment sessions for clients in mental health observation units and other assigned settings, focusing on evidence-based therapeutic practices.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of client progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
\n
• Participate actively in clinical supervision, engaging in weekly sessions with a Clinical Supervisor to enhance your professional development and clinical skills.
\n
• Engage in mental health and medical rounds as required, contributing to a comprehensive understanding of client health status and treatment needs.
\n
• Facilitate case conferences and treatment planning meetings for patients currently receiving or being evaluated for mental health treatment, fostering collaboration among team members.
\n
• Administer psychological testing as assigned, providing critical insights into client mental health diagnostics.
\n
• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, assessments, and follow-up care to ensure continuity of services for clients.

• Coordinate with Reentry Social Workers to facilitate effective discharge planning and transitions for clients leaving the Detox Center.
\n
• Complete and submit required statistical reports on client outcomes and program efficacy.

Your work as an LCSW will make a significant impact on a diverse population, primarily consisting of children and adolescents grappling with mental health issues and substance abuse challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from $80,000 to $122,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
