Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions in various formats (video, phone, etc.) to support clients in achieving their treatment goals.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient interactions, ensuring that all progress notes are timely completed by the end of each shift.

• Monitor and report any changes in patients' behaviors, advocating for necessary services and adjustments to their care plans.
\n
• Orient patients and their families to our services, helping them navigate their treatment journey coherently.

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including nurses and other mental health professionals, to implement and adjust treatment strategies as needed.

• Respond effectively to crisis situations, demonstrating knowledge and skills in crisis management and de-escalation techniques.

• Utilize standardized diagnostic tools and collaborate in the development of treatment plans based on DSM-5 criteria.

• Engage in regular supervision and continuing education to enhance professional competencies and stay current with best practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current license as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in California.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting providing direct mental health services.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills, along with an ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• A flexible mindset to adapt to the dynamic needs of clients and changes in treatment modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
