Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and joint therapy sessions with couples and families to address a variety of mental health issues.

• Identifying and addressing family dynamics, including handling conflicts among family members and facilitating effective communication strategies.
\n
• Specializing in areas such as alcohol abuse, physical/psychological abuse, grief and loss, job stress, and blended family challenges.
\n
• Developing and implementing treatment plans that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each family or individual.
\n
• Providing support during significant life transitions, including separation and divorce, while promoting healthier coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with diverse patient populations that include adults, children, and adolescents. Your ability to empathize and connect with clients will be key as you navigate various circumstances, such as grief, conflict resolution, and adjustment difficulties. Understanding the unique backgrounds and needs of each client will facilitate a more personalized approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related discipline.
