Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will be expected to:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify symptoms of mood disorders and create comprehensive case formulations based on your evaluations.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and goals, while monitoring and adjusting these treatment strategies according to progress.

• Provide ongoing education and supportive resources to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, promoting understanding and destigmatization.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's collective expertise.

• Advocate for mental health awareness within the community and work to reduce stigma associated with seeking therapeutic support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety issues, and relational difficulties. Your expertise in therapeutic modalities, such as systems therapy, narrative therapy, and structural family therapy will be instrumental in guiding clients through their unique journeys toward healing and improvement.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• An active and valid LMFT license in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
