Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Genie Mental Health Clinic, your responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group therapy sessions aimed at fostering connection among clients. These sessions will be designed to facilitate discussions on shared experiences, and emotional support, and to help clients learn healthy coping mechanisms.

• Individual Therapy: Provide empathetic, one-on-one counseling tailored to the unique needs of each client. You will explore clients’ thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while developing personalized coping strategies and action plans to aid their journey toward healing.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that prioritize their specific needs while incorporating their feedback and aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize assessment tools and feedback methods to track client progress, helping to ensure the most effective therapeutic interventions are employed.

• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a team of professionals from various disciplines. Regularly communicate and coordinate care with colleagues to address complex cases, ensuring comprehensive support for each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on providing mental health services to young adults aged 18 to 30, who may be dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

• Current LPCC licensure in California is mandatory.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
