Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Albany Health Care Center, you will be tasked with delivering high-quality mental health care through diverse therapeutic modalities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Group Therapy: Lead and encourage engaging group therapy sessions that allow clients to connect, express themselves, and share their experiences in a safe environment.

• Offering Individual Therapy: Provide tailored counseling that helps clients explore their thoughts and emotions, guiding them toward coping mechanisms and actionable recovery plans.

• Collaborating on Treatment Planning: Work with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and achievable goals.

• Monitoring Progress: Regularly assess and document client progress using various tools and feedback mechanisms, ensuring that treatment remains relevant and effective.

• Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to optimize client outcomes, communicate on treatment progress, and consult on complex client cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults and teens enrolled in our outpatient treatment program. This demographic often grapples with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional challenges. Your expertise and support will be crucial in providing a safe space for healing and personal development.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in California.

• A Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Albany Health Care Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
